EARLY ADVENTURE Driven by a desire to prove himself against new and powerful enemies, Gh'ray ventured from the familiar landscapes of the Steppe to Eorzea, following a path that would eventually see him known as the Warrior of Light.
BUILDING A PARTY As Gh'ray’s journey in Eorzea progressed, he gained allies who would become trusted companions. During his time in New Gridania, he met Finnur, a skilled Viera lancer with a strong sense of duty and a drive to improve. Finnur pleaded to join Gh'ray’s party, seeking the same growth that Gh'ray pursued. Later, in Ishgard, following the tragic events at the peace conference, Gh'ray encountered Esamae, an Au Ra woman with an intense desire to help bring down the dragon Nidhogg. Esamae’s strength and resolve earned her a permanent place in Gh'ray’s party as they faced the dragons of Ishgard and beyond.
On his perilous journey through The First, Gh'ray’s life took an unexpected turn when he met a Viera name Shara. Shara, assigned to guide him through the enigmatic Fanow Woods, was drawn to his strength and courage. Their companionship evolved into a deep love, prompting Shara to forsake her clan and name, joined Gh'ray on his travels across reflections. With this Gh'ray followed his tribe's tradition and gave the former Shara the name of his past life's lover, Myara. Bound by a pact with Feo Ul, Myara must return to The First every few full moons, a reminder of her roots and the sacrifices she made for her life with Gh'ray.
CURRENT LIFE After many triumphs and hardships, Gh'ray’s path led him to the vast and uncharted lands of Tural. Here, he was enlisted to assist Wuk Lamat in her Right of Succession, a formidable competition requiring the skills of only the most capable warriors. Though Gh'ray easily bested him, the experience fueled Finnur's desire to join Gh'ray's party and grow as a fighter.
